Are you aware of the powerful effects to your physical, mental and spiritual health the words you speak and think have on you?


You may be surprised to learn that your thoughts are constantly chattering around in your head recounting all your actions...some of it positive and some negative.  There is enough negative messages in our everyday lives through newspapers and the people around us.  So why add more to it?


For many of us self talk, both our thoughts and words, that is negative has become second nature and is constantly with us on a daily basis.


I'm sure you'd be surprised if just for a moment you stopped and took the time to listen to your thoughts.  What is the constant drone you hear?  Is it positive or negative self talk?  A constant discourse of conversation affects your everyday life whether it's a soft whisper or a loud chattering.


Have you wondered why you feel so lethargic and unmotivated?  It's no wonder as negative thoughts are energy depleting and stop you from reaching your dreams and expectations.  Did you realise that even criticizing yourself, concern and uneasiness or putting yourself down is classed as negative self talk?

Filling your thoughts with positive self talk is important to helping avoid the negative impact that you are in contact with each day.


I believe that Oprah said these words which are so true...."Every Day Is A Cause For Celebration!”


With practice and constant awareness of your thoughts... positive self talk will become easier and eventually become a part of your everyday thinking.


One technique I have found to be helpful is to STOP the negative thought as soon as it pops into your head and replace it with positive thoughts.  As time progresses you'll find yourself speaking and thinking more positive thoughts.


Gaining greater awareness of your thoughts will help you feel more in control and definitely feeling better and will boost your self esteem.  Experts have proven that self talk that is positive has positive affects on your health as it helps to reduce your stress.


There's nothing better than starting your morning right with a positive attitude and thoughts.  If you start your day off believing you'll have a great day... that's what will be in store for you.  It is said that we attract what we think and believe.  What's your choice?  Would you prefer to have negative or positive thoughts?


Your health and self esteem will benefit by changing your thoughts from negative to positive... don't choose to think about what you don't want, think about what you DO want....and reap the rewards for yourself and for those around you.
