Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa. In West Africa there is a country named Sierra Leone. It's capital is Freetown. English is their native language and the climate is tropical. It has unicameral legislature with constitutional republic. the head of the government and state is the president. the other members of the parliament are appointed by him. The economy of the country is dependent on mining and it is still a developing nation. fishing is the major activity of Freetown Sierra Leone. It contributes a bit to the economy. tuna, lobster, crab and snapper are some of the species of fishes found here and it has the largest fishing ground.

fishing is done during the weekends, by the tourists as a part of recreational activity. Night life is very famous here and there is good number of night clubs. But unfortunately one must be cautious about their belongings in night clubs as it is a good spot for pick pockets. the night life is generally between twelve in the midnight to five in the morning. the tourist spots of the country is St. John's Maroon Church, The Wharf Steps and Old Guard House, The Martello Tower, The Cotton Tree, Bunce Island and many more. the largest slave castle of West Africa is Bunce Island. it is considered to be one of the national historic place in Sierra Leone. the tourists are attracted towards Sierra Leone as the ruins are still there. Thus it has become a tourist spot booming with tourists during vacations.

Moving to the wildlife and scenic beauties of Sierra Leone, Yawri Bay is one of the best. the place consists of number of mangroves which serves as a home for birds. this place is present in the south east of the capital sity. one main activity here is fishing. The Kangari hills forest is considered to be a main scenic spot is the country. this place is also located in the east of capital city. the reserve is said to be a part of the hill range. the highest part of the hill range is called as Kang-ari.

There is lot of water resources in this reserve that supports agriculture in and around this area. Pampana river and the Moa river originate from this place. another forest reserve is also equally beautiful as this. It is called as the Kambui hills forest reserve. This reserve serves as a production reserve for timber. there are also some catchment area for close by the reservoir. Other tourist attractions here are the Loma Mountains and Gola forest. These beautiful places are adding revenue to the nation by attracting more and more tourists every year. Mount Bintumani is the highest peak in West Africa and it is a part of Loma mountains. This mountain range is the highest range of Freetown Sierra Leone.
